It was a nice walk to church in the calm light snow of the gray morning. It didn't stick around all day but hey it snowed! A friend in the community figures the snow will be here to stay on the 14th of October. We’ll see... Let's get the rink open!
I hope that everyone will take the time to vote on this week’s poll. It was a topic of great discussion here last weekend and there seems to be a split along gender lines!
Had a great game of RISK Saturday night with all my opponents conceding before it really got ugly. Australia rules!!
I forgot to mention that last week we had a “little” sewage leak in the unit. There is a crawl space under the apartment where the water and sewage storage containers are and some how there is a 16” crack from the seam to the top of the unit! I guess no more than two people have lived here in a while! Luckily there is a 2x2 border covered in bluskin around the containers to protect things around it.
We just had to get in there, swish the spillage down a drainpipe that reminded me of the cups on the greens at Lost Creek! Stinky! You know where the last inch around the cup is pulled up and your ball does a 90-degree turn away from the hole! Anyhow, a little elbow grease, a little retching and a lot of Mr. Clean later we were up and running again. I’m just glad that it wasn’t minus 40 out!
I hope everyone has a great week and you are able to sponsor/ volunteer/participate in this year's Terry Fox school Run Day on the 28th! One of many great Canadians!

That is all,
