DAY ONE

On our first official night on the river we stopped at a place called Stick Creek.  It was a beautiful spot for a rest and there was a lot of evidence of people using this place for years. 

So we got a fire going  set up the tent and secured our bear deterrent fence and got down to some serious marshmallow roasting!  This picture was taken about 01:00hrs.  Note the beautiful blue sky above! 

The next morning we had bacon and eggs cooked over the fire.  It doesn't get any better!  Once we got up we noticed the difference in the water color between the river and the creek! River on top and creek on bottom. pretty neat!

Then we set off on day two of our paddling odyssey!
