On one of the last warm and dry weekends of the season.  Jenn and I decided to hike The Chief.

Seeing this sign I was expecting a tough go and I wasn't  disappointed.  It took us about 1:20hrs to get to the top.  We took our time and enjoyed it.

It was pretty steep in parts.  There are a few spots where you need to climb up ladders and use chains to help keep you on the face.

At the top, we had a well deserved lunch and a nap!  The nap is so recommended.

I was amazed at the amount of dogs that made it to the top.  There was a little Pomeranian the was sliding down a rock face that was having a hard time but I scooped him up and passed him to his insane owner who continued going up with poor fluffy.

The way down was a little more aggressive.  It was hard to keep falling ass over tea kettle down the trail.  After we were done, I was sure my legs were bleeding on the inside.

There is a lovely waterfall at the bottom.  Days after I am still having a hard time bending my legs.  All in a lazy weekend!
