Well it continues! The temperature in the north has been quite cold here, colder for longer than most people can remember. Once the temp goes below -40°C &°F it doesn’t really matter.

School was cancelled for the first time in two years because of the temp. If it’s -43° without wind-chill the school is closed.

Some days it was -47° with out wind! Not a lot of action. The cold trend is supposed to continue until midweek. The Ice fog has been disrupting the flight schedules and not a lot of freight or people are getting here. Food mail is not an option, so the canned pear is where it’s at!

I have been doing a lot of rowing machine to keep the heart rate up but I’m getting a bit of cabin fever!

Tomorrow I’ll have a run outside no matter what.

It’s nice to see the sun sticking around longer each week. It’s too bad that it doesn’t necessarily equate to higher temps!

Have a warm weekend!
