It’s been another wild week of weather here in Deline. The temps have been hovering around -40° but with the wind it was -50’s so we had a few days cancelled. Got some of that other work done and also got to sleep in a few times! The runs were pretty chilly these last few weeks. Froze a few digits but no blue/Black spots so we’re all good. The one on the left is my other pinky! it was like a light bulb! It feels not good when it's thawing out! It’s pretty exciting leading up to the race/run. It’s not really a race because we are the only two entered as exhibition. We are two men and to be eligible for prizes you have to have co-ed teams. Maybe next year!

After the race I'm heading to Vancouver for a week or so. That will be a nice relaxing time, I think? Jenn has something planned so who knows? Exciting.

I attempted to make some bread from a new recipe today! It was really funny. I guess a triple batch doesn’t mean three pans. After about 12 minutes baking, the bread was about a foot outside the pan! So in my infinite wisdom I cut that huge top off and threw the pans back into the oven.

Unfortunately our oven over heats like nobody’s business and the last few minutes it was baking at 500°C! A little too hot for bread! Once I got the bread out I put the tops that I cut off back in for a few minutes!
The inside tastes great! It’s not my best effort! There is always next time!
