Last weekend I was in Fort Good Hope with some students participating in a cultural games event. It was great! The take-off was a little bumpy but once we got through the clouds it was quite a peaceful flight. The cloud cover looked like snow.

The games, pole push, stick pull, hand games, head pull, finger pull, and my personal favorite the snow snake! Trying these games was awesome. Sleeping on a classroom floor wasn’t that bad either. In this photo of the head pull I was lifted right off the ground! That isn't good. I was dragged right out of the circle. I was told I needed more "junk in my trunk"! Ebonics is here to stay!

There is a beautiful church (Our Lady of Good Hope) in the community I was told to go visit. Against the winter landscape you are overwhelmed with color when you enter this tiny white church with green trim on the shores of the Mackenzie River.

Time for Bed! I think the chocolate covered coffee beans are wearing off!
