The view is the Mackenzie mountain range from our twin otter bush plane! It was a pretty smooth ride to Norman Wells for a teacher’s conference. There were lots of presentations and some good resources to take back to the classroom. It's good to vent with other educators at time's as well.

I’m heading back soon for some more PD and I’m brining my swimsuit/wetsuit! Adding the Mackenzie River to my list of swims seems quite appropriate.

I hope everyone can focus on the things they are thankful for this holiday weekend.

For myself, I’m thankful for my family including Jennifer, friends, my health, (my new found sense of smell!) my unique experiences here in the north, yoga, music, and that Jenn and I are 2nd place in the hockey pool so far!!!!!! Yeah for Trenifer!
