Another nice day here in Deline, it’s around -10 and clear. Went for a run this morning and it’s these quiet times that remind me that this is a very special place.

It’s official! Shaun and I registered for the Rock and Ice Ultra snowshoe race this afternoon. We are doing the 75km race as a two-person relay. Check out the ROCK AND ICE link below. It should be pretty fun, and another challenge of a lifetime!

It has been a challenge in the past few weeks for plane schedules due the ice fog over the lake and the Deh Cho river system. Lots of delays! Our food mail was delayed for a while but once it arrived everything looked pretty good.


Looking at the Cargo planes I can’t help but think of the A-TEAM. I’m Expecting B.A. Baracus and Col. John “Hannibal” or the “Faceman”, to jump out guns a blazin’!!!!
