Jenn's Dad was in town for the last week or so and we were up to no good.  We went to Victoria to whale watch. 

We also stopped at the Empress Hotel and had a snack and a beer in the Bengal Lounge.  Unfortunately, there were a few tigers harm in creating the decor.  Different times... different times!  When you enter into the room, you take a step back in time to colonial India in all it's uniqueness.   

Jenn and I also participated in a swim at Thetis lake on the island.  This is the best picture I have ever taken! 

I did the 1.5km and Jenn did the 3km.  It was kinda fun in a self-punishment sorta way...! 

We also, went up Grouse mountain, and watched a Birds or Prey and a Lumberjack show. 

A fun filled week!
