Well, well.

I have been visiting the lake shore the past few weeks hoping the ice build up would begin to break up, giving us a clear path to the mouth of the Bear River. If not, it would be a 6-7 km portage. Not the ideal way to start a "canoe" trip!

The creator must have been listening because it's wide open. The North-West wind pushed the ice sheet right out of town! Pretty exciting! I just checked the arm and there is some ice moving back in, but it doesn't look too bad.


About 6 km straight across from where this shot was taken is the River!!! Fingers crossed for Monday!

Look what I found! A puppet! He/she was in the library hiding from me all this time! I could have used him all year!


It's funny. It seems that when I use my puppet voice and lets say ( Mr. Mouse), students and staff are mesmerized into doing exactly what I ask without hesitation.

If I only knew!... ;)
